Job Description

- Greet all members, guests, prospects, and vendors with a professional and welcoming demeanor
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls accurately and efficiently
- Provide general club information and direct inquiries to the appropriate department
- Offer courteous farewells as members and guests exit the club
- Stay up to date on current and upcoming club events — including dates, pricing, and menu details — to confidently answer member questions and provide accurate information
- Promptly notify the Membership Director or appropriate staff when a prospective member arrives
- Monitor the front entrance and lobby area for cleanliness and presentation
- Receive and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries
- Maintain an updated internal contact list and assist with general front desk communications
- Support department heads with printing, laminating, and basic signage needs (e.g., menus, buffet cards)
- Track and restock office supplies; manage copier/printer maintenance
- Assist with routine tasks such as logging, preparing documents, and light errands (e.g., Monday employee lunch coordination)
- Prepare and maintain new member welcome packets (minimum of 10 on hand)
- Process member photos and issue cards, parking stickers, and key fobs
- Send member birthday communications timely
- Assist with tracking RSVPs for member events and provide updates to relevant staff
- Help with event check-in and general guest assistance during special functions
- Maintain and issue gift certificates and associated logs
- Support Casita check-in/out
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and remain calm under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail, especially in data entry and document handling
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general office software
- Previous experience in a front desk, administrative, or hospitality role preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required

Description
Full-time | Primarily Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends for event support
Located in Steiner Ranch — not near the UT campus. Please consider your commute before applying.
The UT Golf Club is seeking a dependable and professional individual to serve as our Front Desk Receptionist. This highly visible role is the first point of contact for members, guests, and vendors and requires strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced private club environment.
