  We have an immediate opening for a part-time Salon Receptionist! This position is great for someone looking to get 20 – 30 hours a week. Great job for college students or someone looking to supplement their income. We offer competitive pay including an hourly rate, bonuses and commission on product sales.

  The Salon Receptionist is the first point of contact for customers who visit our salon or contact us to learn about our beauty services.

  Salon Receptionist responsibilities include:

  *Greeting customers upon their arrival
  *Answer clients’ questions about services via phone or in person
  *Booking and confirming appointments via phone and email
  *Processing transactions (cash and credit cards)
  *Offering beverages and conversing with clients who are in the waiting area
  *Welcoming walk-ins, answering questions about services and scheduling appointments based on availability
  *Informing clients about new services and discounts
  *Cross-selling services and products when appropriate
  *Updating client records
  *Maintaining a clean Salon

  To be successful in this role, you should be highly organized and able to manage clients with grace, even during peak demand. Ultimately, you will help boost our reputation by building friendly, trusting relationships with customers.

  Requirements:

  You must be available to work:
  *Monday mornings
  *Friday and Saturday availability between 9am and 7pm.
  *Sunday- Work a rotation on Sunday 9am to 4pm

  You must have possess the following:
  *Proven work experience as a Salon Receptionist
  *Hands-on experience with office equipment
  *Familiarity with processing transactions
  *Excellent communication abilities (verbal, phone and email) with a customer service attitude
  *Solid organization and record-keeping skills
  *An ability to remain calm under stressful circumstances
