Job Description

- Answers the telephone and professionally directs calls to the proper individuals or direct calls to the voice mail system.
- Ensure phone calls are redirected accordingly.
- Greet guests and visitors in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner.
- Open and close visitor area (locking doors, closing blinds, turning off lights).
- Type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents assigned.
- Provides administrative support for various projects.
- Performs all other d uties as assigned.
- Possesses excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrated Computer literacy skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Possesses excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Familiarity with telephone systems preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of six months customer service experience.
- Minimum of six months clerical/administrative experience.

POSITION SUMMARY
Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The Receptionist is the first contact for all outside calls and visitors to SEC locations.
SCHEDULE
3-to-6-month assignment
Monday through Thursday (11 am to 7 pm)
Friday (8:30 am to 5 pm)
