Job Description
- Req#: 79908
- Monday - Saturday, various shifts as needed
- $17.00 - $17.25 per hour
- Bachelor's Degree not required
- Current First Aid/CPR/AED certifications from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, in-person skills component required
- ACSM, ACE, NSCA, NASM, or AFAA certification preferred
- Provides superior customer service to members/clients and assists the team in overseeing general facility operations and services
- Develops safe and effective exercise programs; provides general supervision
- Leads new and innovative group exercise classes
- Administers fitness assessments; provides results counseling
- Assists members with reaching their personal fitness goals
- Participates in and gains exposure to a wide variety of fitness center operations, such as safety standards, equipment cleaning and maintenance and facility orientations
- Participates in membership enrollment procedures
- Interacts with client and members; establishes mutually beneficial relationships
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organization skills required
- Good working knowledge of computers: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher
- Personable; positive attitude
- Ability to instruct multiple group exercise formats preferred
