      Responsibilities to Anticipate: :

      • Role is to supervise 10-20 assembly operators.

      • This position will coordinate productivity improvement studies for an advanced manufacturing factory and be a change agent for continual improvement within the factory.

      • Also, this individual will develop and maintain performance metrics for their teams and ensure that their production lines are meeting the production schedule and cost proposed to their customers.

      • This candidate will be tasked with implementing continuous improvement methods utilizing lean manufacturing principles, and be capable of motivating their team to be involved in these improvements.

      Basic Qualifications:

      • Typically requires a minimum 2 years relevant operations experience in a manufacturing setting and a Bachelors degree.

      • Experience with lean implementation and information technology systems

      • Strong leadership, problem solving, and project management skills

      • Must be a US Citizen
      • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

      • Thorough knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel

      • Strong team and individual developmental skills (Coaching for Success)

      • Ability to think strategically and determine long-term impact of decisions

      • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision

      • Ability to develop innovative solutions to achieve goals of improved efficiency and low assembly costs
