Job Description

- Maintain a safe work environment for employees and enforce safety policies and safe behaviors.
- Plan, organize and coordinate work of mechanics on crew.
- Ensure employees are executing inventory transactions in a manner that maintains an accurate inventory.
- Perform analysis and maintenance of MacPac generated kit reports.
- Interface routinely with Production Management , Production Control and Planning regarding material issues and status.
- Effectively communicate and maintain a productive working relationship with the Hourly Team, Salaried Team, and Union Representatives.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to employees under your charge.
- Use Work Force Management (WFM) to verify employee time cards.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2-5 years of material management experience.
- Experience in Material Control and Inventory Management Concepts.
- PC skills required (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage conflict.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of BMCS and MACPAC systems.
- Experience with Workforce Management (WFM).
- Knowledge of material management processes at BIW.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
