      Hiring for FT Front Office Coordinator at Methodist McKinney Hospital (Full Time- Day Shift)

      GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

      • The primary responsibility of the Front Office Coordinator is to perform general office activities that provide clerical support.
      • Greeting patients
      • Maintaining current demographic and insurance information in computer and in the chart
      • Performing office opening procedures, petty cash balancing, co-pay/co-insurance collection, and assisting patients as needed
      • Primary focus is servicing patients in the lobby with backup for phones and other front office personnel

      REQUIREMENTS:

      • High School Diploma required
      • Minimum 1 years experience in healthcare background required
      • Knowledge of clinic policies and procedures
      • Knowledge of computer systems, programs preferred
      • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
      • Proficient in MS Office applications which include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred
