      Your Key responsibilities:

      • Conduct thorough and comprehensive validations of quantitative models, including financial, statistical, and predictive models. Work closely with investment teams to identify and document on model limitations, assumptions, and potential issues.
      • Liaise with independent model risk management team regarding model validation activities.
      • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all models, including validation reports, policies, and procedures in line with regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and industry best practices. Keep record of model changes and version control.
      • Assist in the development and implementation of model governance policies and procedures. Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance model risk management practices.
      • Monitor model performance and contribute to ongoing model surveillance. Report on model drift, validation findings, and recommended actions.

      Your skills and experience:

      • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering). Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D), CFA, FRM, will be an added advantage.
      • Three to Five years of experience in risk management, model risk management, model validation, or a related role.
      • Strong understanding of financial instruments (e.g. FX, Rates, Equities, Derivatives and Alternatives), mathematical modelling, and statistical analysis.
      • Knowledge of relevant regulatory guidelines and standards is a plus.
      • Proficiency in at least one of the programming languages Python, C++, R or Matlab.
      • Good understanding of valuation methods, capital markets, portfolio theory, risk and return attribution models.
      • Excellent verbal and written communications skills -- previous experience of writing either technical documentation related to model validation or development or independent peer-reviewed research articles.
