Greet and check in patients upon arrival

Collect co-pays, coinsurance, and outstanding balances

Obtain and scan photo ID and insurance cards
-
Verify insurance coverage and assign correct insurance in HST
-
Assist with check-out process and ensure patient flow is maintained
- Prepare daily deposits and end-of-day financial packets
-
Create new patient charts in HST
-
Prepare patient charts
-
Schedule and confirm patient appointments as needed
-
Assist with general office duties and maintain a clean, professional front desk area
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
1–2 years of experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)
-
Familiarity with medical terminology and clinic operations
-
Proficient in computer systems and EHRs (HST experience a plus)

Strong multitasking and organizational abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused demeanor
-
Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a welcoming office environment

Must arrive on time and be prepared to start each workday promptly

Demonstrated ability to perform all assigned front/back office duties efficiently
