Job Description

- Leading the front office hosts who are responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions
- Processing forms of payment
- Responding to guest inquiries
- Greeting guests and completing the check-in and check-out process
- Answering billing questions and resolve guest billing concerns, including post-stay inquires
- Effectively communicating with guests, colleagues and all hotel departments
- Assisting with the answering of incoming phone calls, booking reservations and cancelling reservations
- Managing and ensuring that all tasks on the daily checklist are complete
- Restocking supplies and maintaining a neat, orderly work area
- Participating in team efforts to achieve departmental and hotel goals
- Other duties as assigned by your leader

- Experience and a thorough understanding of Front Office operations
- Minimum 1-year experience as a front office host at a full-service hotel
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for the duration of your shift
- Intermediate computer skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office programs, Opera, Colleague Advantage etc... highly preferred
