Overview
The Experiened Full-Time Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for the in-clinic customer service experience. The Front Desk Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information for patients, physicians, and other clinic visitors. The Front Desk Receptionist will also be responsible for point of service collection, patient paperwork and intake, and patient scheduling.
Responsibilities
• Greet and welcome patients, physicians, and other visitors when they arrive • Manage and facilitate patient scheduling, intake, and check-in processes, including answering general patient insurance and benefits questions• Collect patient co-pays • Make outbound phone calls to assist with scheduling of new and existing patients to allow for access to care • Answer inbound calls from the Access Management Team and partner to get patients scheduled to assist with patient plan of care adherence • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
Qualifications
Minimum Experience Required For Consideration:
• Associate’s degree in a related field such as Healthcare or core sciences
• Previous experience in an outpatient medical setting, physical therapy, chiropractic preferred
• High School Diploma
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills• Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. computers, fax machines and printers)• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, etc)
