What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Utilize company software tools and knowledge of relevant regulations to process member eligibility and billing updates
- Maintain individual member and group level accounts by processing refunds and discretionary billing requests
- Track group accounts receivable and communicate delinquency issues to management
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in all billing-related transactions
- Respond to member inquiries regarding billing and account status
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be available and punctual for scheduled work shifts
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in accounts receivable or billing processes
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with health insurance billing and member services
- Familiarity with Federal and State regulations related to health insurance
- Proficiency in using billing software and tools
