Click on “Candidates” to view benefit offerings that you may be eligible for if you are hired as a Sherwin-Williams employee. *May be required to work one of the listed shifts: 6:00am-2:30pm; 7:00am-3:30; 8:00am-4:30pm; 9:00am-5:30pm; 9:30am-6:00pm* CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS To support the Fulfillment Center Shift Lead and Site Supervisor by creating drawdowns during an assigned shift at one of the Drawdown Fulfillment Centers to support The Americas Group (TAG) stores/reps, National Account Reps, and end use Customers. 1. Fulfillment Center order execution a. Organize and track the orders physically through the center b. Ensuring the requests are documented in the drawdown request and color software system to ensure accurate status for the center’s work c. Communicate with fulfillment center peer technicians, lead, and supervisor regarding order needs and status as required 2. To perform work at one or multiple of the listed Drawdown Center workstations during a shift as assigned by lead or supervisor a. Order entry b. Pull samples for requests c. Paint pouring d. Tinter calibration and operation which includes paint sample shaking e. Panel labeling f. Drawdown creation which includes drawdown bar cleaning g. Quality control which includes label information, sample quality, and color accuracy h. Shipping 3. Maintain safety and quality a. Maintain safe operation of shakers, scales, tint machines, color eyes, oven, etc. b. Perform calibration and preventative maintenance of the equipment as assigned c. Ensuring all safety procedures are followed in the Fulfillment Center d. Utilize standard operating procedure or best practice documents to ensure samples are prepared correctly, accurately, and consistently across all Fulfillment Centers POSITION REQUIREMENTS FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: · High School Degree or GED Equivalent Preferred: · 2 or more years of college with courses in science or math KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: · Proficient in Microsoft Office · Must be able to utilize computers and learn group specific software programs · Ability to follow standard operating procedures and/or best practice documents to accurately complete work Preferred: · 1 year experience working in a research lab, quality control lab, warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment · 1 year of color formulation or color matching experience · 1 year of tinting and mixing paint and/or creating color drawdowns · Experience operating equipment such as a pallet jack, dolly, or other similar equipment used to move pallets or pails of paint PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: · Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis. · Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis · Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. · Must be able to climb and descend stairs. · Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis. · Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing. · May work indoors and outdoors as needed. Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees. · May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required. · May work in areas where toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials are present. · May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt. · Work surfaces may include concrete. · Employee must be able to tolerate non-toxic paint odors and be able to wear a respirator as required. · Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.
