  Summary/ Objective

  
  

  Must be a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to move materials and packages around our facilities. You will be operating the forklift with utmost care to ensure safety and efficiency in our storage facilities and warehouses. You will be responsible for loading and unloading materials from industrial trucks.

  As an FTM in Inventory, your duties and responsibilities will include driving a forklift and driving around storage spaces, warehouses, and other storage facilities. As per the fulfillment work schedule, you will be expected to be the stated department for moving the goods.

  
  

  Essential Functions

  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

  • Unloading the merchandise and materials from the incoming vehicles and stacking them in the assigned locations in the storage facilities.
  • Locating and moving the stock of products to crates or pallets for shipment or storage.
  • Identifying damages and reporting quality deficiencies or shortages to higher management.
  • Checking whether the goods to be transported are arranged properly in the vehicles.
  • Inspect machinery to determine if it requires any repairs and assuring safety by regularly maintaining them.
  • Keeping updated activity logs and inventory details.
  • Complying with the company policies and legal procedures.
  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment of the facilities.
  • Collecting the desired goods, loading them into the vehicles, and shipping them to the stated destination.

  In addition to this, the FTM Inventory will also be receiving the materials delivered to the warehouse. The purpose of this role is to ensure that the products and materials are always accessible to our employees in the right place. The aim is to achieve optimum efficiency.

  Requirements

  Education and Experience

  • 2+ years of proven work experience as a Forklift Operator.
  • Outstanding physical condition and coordination.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Outstanding knowledge of industrial equipment and their working.
  • Valid certifications are required to operate the forklifts.
  • Should possess a valid operator’s license.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or G.E.D. certificate.
  • Some fulfillment experience is a plus but will train the right candidate.

  This job operates in a non-air-conditioned warehouse setting. Noise levels may be high due to forklift and compressor use.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee may frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
