      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Serve as a liaison and information resource to investigators regarding federal requirements for human research
      - Attend and document IRB meetings, ensuring compliance with federal regulations
      - Review and confirm modifications required for IRB protocol approvals
      - Compose correspondence to investigators regarding required changes for research approval
      - Collaborate with research personnel to provide guidance on IRB policies and procedures

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree required; Master’s or doctoral degree in a healthcare-related area strongly preferred
      - At least 3 years of relevant experience in clinical research or regulatory affairs
      - Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing human-subjects research
      - Certified IRB professional (CIP) credential in good standing or must pass the certification exam within the first 90 days of employment
      - Availability for Monday - Friday EST business hours

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in human subject protection programs
      - Familiarity with the Belmont Report and Nuremberg Code
      - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
      - Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements
      - Participation in process improvement activities
