- As a systems and application developer you will understand the functional aspects, business processes, interfaces, screens, mock-ups, business flow and data of dependent systems
- Design, develop, implement and maintain high performance java applications and digital solutions
- Work with business partners to develop system requirements and ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Conduct software analysis and debugging to identify and fix issues with production applications
- Perform production support as required and promptly address customer issues/tickets by performing root cause analysis and eliminating repeat problems
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies
- Keep knowledge current and up to date with latest technologies and industry trends
- Assist as necessary in developing project plans and schedules, track progress to plans, communicate status, issues and risks to supervisor, colleagues and stakeholders on a timely basis
- Develop strong and productive relationships with business partners, colleagues and management and collaborate with colleagues in other regions for building scalable solutions
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in application development
- Experience with Java
- Strong understanding of how to structure code, patterns, development design, data structures, and development
- Experience in working with technology focused product teams
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Experience with SAFe framework
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related
- Programming bootcamp experience is a plus
- Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure or GCP
- Experience with UI/UX frameworks for frontend application development

Inside the Role
As an Application Developer on the Daimler Truck Financial Services IT Credit, Risk and Funding team, you will be responsible for designing and developing applications and systems solutions to improve customer experience and contribute to growth and profitability of the company. You will be part of a talented and motivated team that supports business critical systems. You will experience beyond programming full software development lifecycle from concept and design to testing.
This is a DTFS Band 91 Position.We Take Care of Our Team
