Job Description Summary: Under limited supervision, designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle. Provides the necessary documentation. Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages. Job Specific Information: This position will fulfill critical development and development-lead responsibilities for Shipment EFS. Shipment EFS (SEFS) is the cornerstone of the Enterprise Platform and serves as the central repository of Enterprise Shipment Information. The primary duties of this role revolve around the development lead responsibilities for a SEFS domain. (Example: Shipment Order). This includes interfaces with Architects, Product Owners, and Product Managers. Further this role will be responsible with coordinating with a significant sized Vendor Partners team. Shipment EFS (SEFS) is a key enabler for several strategic priorities like DRIVE, Network 2.0, Dynamic Pricing, Recipient experience etc. SEFS provides the common core and definitions that allows different lines of business to seamlessly exchange information about shipment enabling interoperability. SEFS is also the lynchpin for modernization that will allow retirement of several legacy systems leading to simplification helping us drive dollars from run the business to change the business. This candidate will build, maintain, and support enterprise class solutions supporting shipment information aggregation and distribution. The knowledge, skills, and abilities which are required for success are: Java/J2EE technologies including Spring Boot framework API/Web Services: Restful, JSON, SOAP, WSDL, XML, Microservices Enterprise scale event driven architecture CI/CD integration experience using industry standard components and pipeline tools Datastax Enterprise Messaging technologies (JMS and Kafka) Design and development of cloud native applications using Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) Knowledge of Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting and collaborating with developers, analysts, and business staff throughout the organization. Ability to express complex technical information in a user-friendly language and style; present information effectively in one-on-one, and small group settings, including executive management Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus: Proven focus on Reliability and Software Engineering principles and to apply them based on Corporate Standards Defining and executing enterprise strategies and building software solutions using modern techniques to improve speed-to-market, reliability and security Strong collaboration skills to facilitate delivery across multiple scrum teams Ability to drive results through project and people leadership and business collaboration Domicile/Relocation: Collierville, TN. Remote Verbiage: The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Requires three (3) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements. Additional Information Salary Range Estimate: Monthly Salary: $7,609.00 - $9,755.00. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role.
