East View Geospatial, a world leader in sourcing maps and geospatial data from countries around the globe, seeks a senior-level full stack developer to provide development and maintenance on internal product and operations management systems and Ecommerce site, with future involvement with other company applications. The individual we seek will have a solid background in application design, development and maintenance. Background knowledge in geography/GIS is a plus.

We serve libraries, government, and corporate clients all over the world. Our customers need rapid access to high-quality maps and GIS data. REQUIRED SKILLS:

• ReST API development in ASP.Net 6 using C# and Entity Framework.
• .NET experience and demonstrated understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Programming principles.
• Familiarity with modern RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or MSSQL
• Ability to work in Vue3 including the following technologies
  • Node, NPM
  • TypeScript, HTML, Sass
  • Server-Side Rendering
• Demonstrated understanding of application development processes, from the layout/user interface to relational database structures.
• Familiarity with version control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Ability to communicate directly with peers, managers, and clients while leading development to a completed and successful solution.
• Strong organization skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the constraints of clients’ timelines and budgets.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Awareness and pride in 100% client satisfaction.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• GIS applications and geospatial data
• Ability to work on GNU/Linux
• Experience with container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Front-end design aptitude
