      Corporate Bank Phoenix

      Within the Corporate Bank Germany, the Phoenix Program is established to focus on the 2029 target operating model, business and required technical architecture to enable a new level of efficiency and quality of customer experience.

      Through the Phoenix Program our target is to redesign our processes to make efficiency gains and therefore reduce our cost-to-service. At the same time, we want a first-class customer experience throughout the entire client lifecycle, starting with onboarding, which will allow us to make better use of our clients' wallets in the long term. We aim to increase scalability through a globally consistent, modern tech and data platform.

      In Phoenix Corporate Bank’s business and DB technology staff work integrated in agile teams what provides engineers a unique opportunity to apply latest technology while learning about the products and processes of the bank.

      As a Full Stack Engineer (f/m/x) Phoenix Process you will be part of our process automation squads.

      Your key responsibilities

      • You bring in your engineering experience for the implementation of new functionalities and help maintaining the code base clean and up to industry standards

      • The implementation of modern technologies, design principles and agile methodologies are important to you and part of your daily work.

      • You regularly conduct peer reviews with your team members to ensure that your code is appropriate, extendable, and reusable.

      • You actively engage in the engineering community, share your knowledge and build up a solid network.

      Your skills and experiences

      • University degree with technological or scientific focus or equivalent working experience.

      • You already have in-depth experience with Java etc. as well as with DevOps tools like Github Actions and cloud-based environments.

      • You are aware and have strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, write good, reusable, testable and maintainable code and you are familiar with agile work.

      • You are a good team player who likes to share content and best practices, learns quickly, and listens carefully.

      • You have good communication skills and can communicate fluently in English. German is a Plus.
