Job Description

- Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications (cloud and/or in-house).
- Serve as technical expert on development projects.
- Mentor more junior developers and apply technical knowledge to guide team members on solutions.
- Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of agile methodology, development processes, and programming languages.
- Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related fields.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance.
- 4+ years of object-oriented software design and development experience supporting new applications.
- Programming experience with Python (Procs scripts for processing and alerting) and Golang (custom drivers needed as microservices) and/or C, C++, C#, .NET.
- Scripting experience with Python and/or JavaScript.
- Experience using CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins for system orchestration.
- Experience using JUnit or TestNG testing frameworks.
- Experience working with data stores/databases.
- Experience developing software in an agile environment.
- Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
- Experience supporting the U.S. Dept. of Defense
- Front end experience with HTML, JS, Angular, or CSS.

While this position offers some work from home flexibiliy, you will need to go to our customer site at least 2-3 times a week in Orlando, FL. Therefore, we are looking for talented developers in the Orlando area, or who are willing to relocate to that area. You must also be a U.S. citizen in order to be eligible to obtain U.S. Dept. of Defense security clearance, which is also a requirement for this opportunity.
