      Job summary

      As a GP Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to.

      Main duties of the job

      • Greeting patients and visitors warmly and professionally
      • Managing telephone and face-to-face inquiries, booking appointments, and handling cancellations
      • Updating and maintaining patient records using our Emis software system
      • Assisting patients with registration and any necessary paperwork
      • Handling prescription enquiries and other administrative tasks
      • Communicating effectively with medical staff and patients to ensure efficient service delivery
      • Ensuring the reception area is clean, organised, and welcoming
      • Adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies
