Full Time Housekeeper in Encino (Ironing & Weekends!)

- Performing day-to-day interior and exterior housekeeping tasks
- Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and the outdoor BBQ area
- Handling laundry ironing duties, including bedding, linens, towels, and clothing
- Organizing closets and pantries
- Cleaning windows throughout the house
- Ensuring upkeep of outdoor living areas
- Maintaining the Gym
- Making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and attending to the glam room daily
- Conducting deep cleaning sessions when the family is away or as needed
- Compiling detailed shopping lists for groceries and household products
- Assisting with packing and unpacking suitcases for the heads of the household
- Assistance with meal preparation and following recipes
- Willingness to work additional hours when the family is hosting parties
- Light Cooking
- Five bedrooms with indoor and outdoor stairs
- Laundry rooms on both floors
- Outdoor living spaces, including a pool, with a cabana
- Gym/garage
- Employee patio/lounge space outdoors
- Onsite parking
- 5+ years of experience in private residential housekeeping.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to work comfortably with pets: The family has two dogs (one large and gentle, one small and feisty) and one cat
- Willingness to follow simple recipes and comfortable prepping ingredients for dinners and light cooking- basic family meals, not gourmet.
- Must be available to work during holidays when the family is in town.
- Must be a team player and comfortable working alongside other housekeepers, nannies, and especially able to give the family privacy when asked to.
Schedule: Full-time position split between weekdays and weekends with two consecutive days off.
Weekday 12 pm - 8 pm
Weekend 11 am - 7 pm
Two schedule options are available: Monday/Tuesday off or Thursday/Friday off.
* When the family is away on weekends, you will work Monday-Friday 11a-7p
(Flexibility is required for overtime and special events)
Rate: $45 an hour, medical & benefits

A warm and lovely high-profile family in Los Angeles is currently seeking an incredible housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness of their home. Their ideal candidate is an active, energetic, and dedicated individual with a keen eye for maintaining a detailed and clean environment. To succeed in this role, the housekeeper must be self-motivated, great at following directions, and excel at working both independently and as part of a team staff to ensure everything runs smoothly. Discretion is paramount in this position, as the family values privacy and confidentiality. The housekeeper should be able to read a room, and when the heads of household are home, try and work around the rooms they are occupying. Client has another housekeeper and two nannies.
