- Ensure the safety of the facilities department by developing, reviewing, and revising operating procedures.
- Oversee the implementation of park and department policies and procedures.
- Maintain documentation of training certifications, maintenance and safety standards.
- Develop and maintain operating budget to include daily operation and rehab projects.
- Supervising and scheduling all assigned facilities shops to ensure all work assignments are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Preparing and coordinating all tools, equipment, and materials required for projects.
- Working to continuously improve employee morale.
- Handling team member questions and concerns.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in Supervision or Management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong motivational, leadership, and team building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals through motivation and delegation.
- Good organizational skills, creative, outgoing, detail oriented, and self-motivator.
- An enthusiastic, professional, and positive attitude and enjoy working with people.
- Valid CA driver license.
- Ability to operate a variety of equipment (cleaning equipment, tractor, sweeper truck, etc.)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- The ability to stay late or come in early as needed.
- Project management.
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of Facilities maintenance, basic construction/ construction knowledge.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
Overview:The maintenance division is currently seeing a qualified individual to direct and oversee all functions of the department associated with Landscape, Mill Shop, Paint and Sign Shops, Fiberglass Shop, Plumbing, Facility Electrical, HVAC, Water Treatment and Harbor.
