Location: Flexible/hybrid working arrangements available across NSW, with some travel to Sydney metro locations required from time to time (negotiable)
Grade: Clerk Grade 7 /8
- Salary Range : $110,266 to $122,058 p.a. base salary dependent on experience, plus superannuation
- Attending agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning and sprint reviews
- Developers will also be expected to participate in code reviews to ensure both a high-quality code is delivered, and all engineers keep abreast of the mono-repo platform.
- Demonstrated experience in assisting the end-to-end development of product features, ensuring high-quality delivery through thorough testing and optimisation.
- Experience in providing technical expertise to enhance solution design and delivery, contributing to product and system design and testing to improve quality, reduce operational risk, and ensure compliance with standards.
- Experience in resolving technical risks and issues, providing product support, and minimising service outage impacts.
- Experience in developing processes and guidelines to enhance the performance of ICT/Digital products and systems in support of the product roadmap.
- May be required to have, or be able to attain and maintain, baseline security clearance as a condition of employment.
- Solid knowledge of ReactJS, Typescript, Html5 and CSS (less and bootstrap), including JEST.
- Solid knowledge of .NET 6.0+, including XUNIT.
- Experience with background service such as Hangfire.
- Experience working in a fully agile software development environment.
- Experience in micro-services, API and contract driven design and development.
- Experience with JIRA and GIT workflows.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD using GitLab and Jenkins preferable.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes preferable.
- Knowledge of SQL Server / PostgreSQL preferable.
- Knowledge of Code Analysis tools, such as Snyk preferable.
- Knowledge of ELK or similar stacks preferable.
- Experience with cloud platforms desirable (AWS preferable)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet hard deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience working in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Highly collaborative, can-do approach, within and outside the immediate teams.

The opportunity
We are inviting applications for the Fullstack Engineer role for Government Technology Platforms, within Digital NSW as it transforms to become the state's trusted partner to enable accessible and secure digital platforms and services for the citizens and business of NSW.
In this role you will s upport the development and delivery of high-quality, reliable, reusable and maintainable ICT / Di gital systems and/or networks to support the delivery of strategic objectives for the agency and/or partner agencies .
