- This role is within the SAP Operations / IT Business System team and is responsible for all the SAP processes and system modules supporting business operations. It will be heavily focused on ongoing improvements, expansion initiatives, monthly releases, and production support.
- SAP and Ariba Systems Support & Configuration
Provide expert support, configuration, and maintenance for SAP Supply Chain Management (particularly Materials Management) and Ariba modules within the SAP S/4 HANA environment. - Cross-Functional Integration & Process Expertise
Serve as a subject matter expert on supply chain and related SAP modules (e.g., PM, FI, CO, PP, SD), ensuring effective system integration and alignment across business processes. - Business Engagement & Requirements Gathering
Collaborate closely with business users, process owners, and IT teams to gather requirements, lead workshops, identify improvements, and translate business needs into functional specifications and system designs. - Solution Design, Testing & Documentation
Design, configure, test, and document SAP solutions; perform fit-gap analysis; and manage system changes including user authorization and security access needs. - Project and Change Management Support
Contribute to project planning, change management, communication, and training efforts, ensuring successful adoption of new processes and technologies. - Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP Functional Analyst with strong configuration skills in modules such as SAP PM and SD, and involvement in at least 3 full lifecycle implementations (S/4 HANA preferred).
- Solid understanding of business process design and SAP module integration, particularly within core operational areas.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, work in a team-oriented environment, and build strong working relationships.
- Flexible and open to change, with the ability to tailor communication and solutions to meet user and business needs in a service-oriented setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent experience; experience in the oil and gas industry is a strong asset.
