Job Description

- Portfolio Management – Gather, organize, analyze, and monitor borrower data to determine performance and produce various reports for management
- Underwriting – Assist in the analysis of prospective credit decisions, which will include an understanding of a Borrower's past performance, assets, or investors
- Client Service – Assist with various client requests related to their loans or deposit accounts while liaising with other members of the organization as needed. This will include frequent processing of loan advance requests.
- Administrative Tasks – Perform ad-hoc requests and reports for members of the Fund Banking or Venture Banking teams
- Strong interest in investment management.
- Basic understanding of financial principles.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to work in a team and eagerness to learn.
- Strong communication skills.
- Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related filed
- Pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, or a related business field. Junior standing preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
The Fund Banking Internship offers hands-on exposure to commercial banking and alternative investment funds within a small, collaborative team. As a Fund Banking Intern, you will contribute to portfolio management, underwriting, and administration.
