      Job summary

      We are looking for a Fundraising Administration Manager to join our friendly hospice team within our busy Fundraising Department.

      This could be the role for you if you have excellent organisational skills, experience of databases and financial processing, an eye for detail and a passion for delivering excellent supporter/customer experience.

      The role is 30 hours per week.

      Main duties of the job

      The successful candidate will lead on all financial administrative processes within the Fundraising Dept., managing our supporter database, lead on processing and receipting of all cash/cheque/card/BACS/online donations and provide administrative support to the Fundraising Team.

      Job description

      Job responsibilities

      MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

      • To provide excellent support to all donors, signposting to the relevant teams or personally handling their enquiries.
      • To co-ordinate delivery of all financial processes within the Fundraising team. This includes banking of cash and cheques, processing of card payments, recording of BACS payments, uploading regular giving files and managing payments from online donation platforms.
      • To co-ordinate all thanking processes within the Fundraising and Supporter Care team, whether by email, post or telephone.
      • To be the Super User of the Fundraising database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all records.
      • To provide data and reports to Fundraising and Marketing teams as required.
      • To manage fundraising administration volunteers.
      • Identify and implement efficiencies
      • To support Fundraising events as required.

      ORGANISATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

      • To adhere to all Bury Hospice standards, policies and procedures.
      • To take responsibility for own personal learning and development, and to support the learning and development of others and the organisation as a whole; a commitment to completing all training required and refreshing training as appropriate.
      • To conduct all work in a manner reflective of the organisational values and behaviours.
      • To comply with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); an understanding of and commitment to the appropriate handling of all confidential data.
      • To raise and escalate any safeguarding concerns appropriately and in accordance with Bury Hospices Safeguarding Policy.
      • To implement Bury Hospices Health & Safety policy, ensuring all duties are carried out using safe and appropriate working practices in adherence with statutory regulations and guidelines.
      • To promote awareness of, and respect for, equality and diversity in accordance with Bury Hospice policies and procedures.
      • To follow Hospice processes in relation to incident reporting with the understanding that this enables continual learning and improvement across all operations.
      • To protect service users, visitors, employees and volunteers by observing Infection Prevention and Control policies and procedures.
      • To embrace the organisational culture of volunteering and to understand the responsibilities of all employees in relation to role managing volunteers.
      • To organise your own work and to ensure that it is accurate, meeting all quality targets and required deadlines.
