Funds Reconciliation Administrator: Offshore

Job Description
- Req#: 22209
- Performing and daily monitoring of all fund-related reconciliations (including cash and units held with Fund Distributors)
- Liaising with other offshore operations divisions and business to resolve fund reconciliation breaks
- Engagement with vendors and external parties to resolve fund related queries / recon breaks
- Review of all fund-related reconciliations and control activities
- Repatriation of income from offshore and the associated accounts facilitation of all related processes
- Compiling daily and ad hoc periodic reports for review by management on fund recon items
- Processing of the required entries and taking the required action to clear fund recon items in a timely manner
- Communicating recon breaks / fund issues that may impact trading and client reporting to other operations divisions and business
- Responding to queries from business regarding fund recon queries
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or Economics
- Extensive Financial Service / Fund Administration experience preferred
- Deep understanding of international financial markets with a particular focus on unitized instruments
- Detailed understanding of the Private Client business and the stock-broking environment
- Self-motivated, proactive, taking ownership of problems until they are resolved.
- Mature person with the sense of responsibility to do after hours
