  OPPORTUNITY:

  
  Federal Work Study student workers assist various departments per the approved positions below. All work performed must be in the context of assisting students. Approved positions include:

  • Career Services Student Assistant
  • IT Service Delivery
  • Registrar Support
  • Student Finance Student Assistant
  • Student Central Assistant

  RESPONSIBILITIES:

  
  Student Finance:

  • Distribute student finance related forms/documents to students as requested.
  • Researching/locating students who do not respond to correspondence/notices.
  • Receiving/filing student documents.
  • Scanning and retrieving student documents from the imaging system.
  • Assisting students who have registered and/or are currently enrolled during registration periods.
  • Distribute voicemails to colleagues daily.
  • Open and sort incoming mail and distribute/forward mail to bank lockbox.
  • Generate & email or mail itemized statements to students. (standard from TZRSSUM form in Banner)
  • Update student demographic information (address & phone) in systems.
  • Process return mail and update demographics as needed.
  • Reviews student data for accuracy by checking against system. Reviews and retrieves data from system and updates report.
  • Performs data entry from reports into system (i.e. Update a memo or field)
  • Processes general correspondence including incoming student questions.
  • Printing/Copying catalog and handbook publications
  • Printing and assembling exit counseling paper packets
  • Completes other duties as assigned.

  QUALIFICATIONS:

Below are the minimum requirements of the education, experience, knowledge, and skills required to competently perform in this position.   • Must be an enrolled student at DeVry University/Keller Graduate School of Management.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Student in good standing and possess a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester.
  • FWS fund eligible.
  • Computer skills and customer service attitude is critical.
