- Support and grow the foreign exchange business within the C&I segment.
- Manage the bank's FX client portfolio, contribute to marketing & business development, provide service, and support the sales cycle.
- Assist senior FX sales advisors with servicing foreign currency deposits, client inquiries about FX products & rates, international payments, and client relationships (via phone & in person).
- Generate sales reports & analytics, and support ongoing initiatives.
- Participate in sales outreach, create client pitch books, and assist with business development and marketing events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; advanced knowledge preferred.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables & macros.
- Experience in client service highly desirable.
- Banking experience in international markets preferred.
- Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and/or Cantonese.
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics or related field required.

Overview
East West Bank is seeking a Junior Foreign Exchange Analyst. The Junior Foreign Exchange Analyst will report directly to the SVP Regional Foreign Exchange Sales Manager. This role will support and grow the foreign exchange business within the Cross Border customer segment, as well as the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) business lines. The advisor will support the Cross Border and C&I teams in marketing & business development efforts, provide excellent service to external & internal customers, and contribute to the sales cycle.
The position is based in New York within the FX Department. Flexibility in work hours is required to support our Cross Border clients, with initial hours expected from 8:00AM to 5:00PM EST. The role is hourly, and overtime may be required.
