- Travel around the Omaha Metro area to service commercial garage doors.
- Respond to customer calls and dispatch to site locations for troubleshooting and repair work.
- Source materials and part numbers.
- Identify appropriate programmers for doors and determine optimal door placement.
- Work with power supplies, transformers, relay logic, and control boards.
- Service and repair automatic doors with computer-operated mechanisms.
- Complete work orders and report back to the customer team on work completion.
- Order necessary parts and materials.
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Electrical and troubleshooting skills.
- Blueprint reading capabilities.
- Mechanical repair skills.
- Experience with door installation and manufacturing.
- AAADM certification (American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers) is a huge plus.
Garage Door Installation Technician
Pay: $20 - $27 per hour
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for traveling around the Omaha Metro area to service commercial garage doors. You will respond to customer calls and dispatch to site locations to perform troubleshooting and repair work. You will source materials and part numbers, identify programmers for doors, and determine which doors work well in specific areas. Your work will involve power supplies, transformers, relay logic, and control boards, primarily dealing with automatic doors that are mechanically operated by a computer system. You will complete work orders and report back to the customer team upon completion.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $54080.00/yr.
