What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide analytical support for gas supply functions, including purchasing and system volume tracking
- Maintain reporting of all gas supply costs and support financial records for accounting and regulatory teams
- Record and reconcile gas supply invoices, ensuring accuracy of pricing and delivered volumes
- Assist with preparation of gas supply payables and timely payment of invoices
- Represent the company at business meetings and functions with marketers and gas suppliers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A four-year degree in accounting or a related field
- Previous related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with general accounting concepts and spreadsheet development (Excel)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Oracle or SAP software
- Strong competencies in forecasting and budgeting
- Demonstrated analytical capability and meticulous attention to detail
