      Novant Health is seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Gastroenterologist to help lead the expansion of GI services in the Bluffton and Hilton Head region of South Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a systemwide GI growth initiative—including the development of new endoscopy suites and a vision to create a regional gastroenterology program across the region.

      Responsibilities

      • Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care in both a community hospital and clinic setting.
      • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
      • Manage and treat a wide range of GI disorders.
      • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
      • Participate in on-call rotations, as needed.
      • Educate patients and families about treatment plans and preventive care.

      Qualifications

      What We Require:

      • Active MD or DO license in South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
      • Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
      • Current DEA and SC controlled substance registration
