  Gatehouse Security Officer

  As a Gatehouse Security Officer, you will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, ensuring the safety and security of the residential community. Your role involves monitoring entry and exit, verifying credentials, and responding to incidents in a professional and courteous manner.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access to the property from the gatehouse.
  • Verify identification and credentials of visitors, vendors, and residents.
  • Maintain a visible security presence and conduct occasional perimeter checks.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.
  • Enforce community rules and regulations with professionalism.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports and communicate with the security team.

  Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) required – must be able to communicate effectively with a diverse community.
  • Valid Class D Security License required.
  • Previous experience in security or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  Working Schedule:

  • Open availability required (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
