- Troubleshoot and repair RF satellite communications antenna system electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair facility RF assemblies and gateway computer systems.
- Maintain and monitor resources and Gateway RF sub-system ensuring system uptime
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the elements of the Gateway Systems and Components
- Monitor facility elements, including power systems, HVAC, and fire suppression
- Familiarity with RF satcom systems
- Familiarity with the operation of various test instruments (Signal generators, Spectrum analyzers, DVMs)
- Ability to troubleshoot electronic, electrical, and mechanical assemblies
- Ability to maintain an on-call schedule for emergency site repairs on nights and weekends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Computer networking skills
- Electronic engineering technician, technologist, or equivalent
- One (1) to three (3) years of electronic/RF system troubleshooting and repair, IT troubleshooting and repair or equivalent experience
- Experience maintaining AC and DC power systems preferred
- Experience installing and/or maintaining satellite or microwave equipment preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
