All operational border related activities, including the management of travellers, goods, cargo and onshore compliance, detention and removal operations

The end-to-end management of the immigration detention network, ensuring the security, safety and welfare of detainees in immigration detention facilities and safeguarding non-citizen minors in migration programs

Policy and regulatory frameworks to facilitate the movement of travellers and goods across our borders, supporting Australia's economy and security.

Our ideal candidate
Executive Level 1/ Border Force Inspectors work under general supervision and within established procedures and guidance. They hold legislated delegations and work with a range of legislation and mandatory qualifications.
These positions form part of the broader operational workforce within the ABF. Candidates are required to be flexible and deployable to work areas as identified above.
You may be required to work in a shift or non-shift role.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the position you must be an Australian Citizen.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (AGSVA) security clearance and an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
