      Position overview

      We are thrilled to announce the establishment of the new GBS Americas Center in Guadalajara, Mexico. This strategic move marks a significant milestone for allnex as we strengthen our presence in the Americas and scale our operations efficiently across the region.

The GBS Americas will serve as a hub of innovation and excellence, driving our mission to deliver superior solutions and services to our valued customers.

      Are you a finance professional ready to take ownership of a high-impact role in a global organization? Allnex is looking for a Finance Controller to lead the financial operations of our U.S. entity, overseeing over $500M in net sales. This is a unique opportunity to drive financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

      In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting under US GAAP, IFRS, and tax standards. You’ll lead the month-end close process, manage annual audits, and support tax provision and compliance activities. Collaboration is key—you’ll work closely with teams across finance, manufacturing, procurement, HR, and more to maintain strong internal controls and drive continuous improvement. While this position has no direct reports, it requires strong leadership and coordination skills. You’ll report directly to the Director, FP&A Americas & Finance US, based in Georgia.

      Responsibilities

      Finance

      • Responsible for the accuracy, timeliness and integrity of the US-based financial statements for IFRS, GAAP and tax.
      • Conduct research on IFRS and US GAAP compliance to ensure accurate accounting treatment of unusual, complex or one-off accounting transactions.
      • Prepare and review Balance Sheet Account reconciliations on a monthly/Quarterly basis
      • Collaborate with other Finance staff in resolving issues and maintaining proper controls on financial transactions.
      • Maintain strong controls across operations, including inventory management, SMOG write-offs, fixed asset management, capex process, leases, working capital, cash management and forecasting, other.

      External Auditors

      • Responsible for annual audit for the US entity, provide schedules, reports and explanations to KPMG for the purposes of quarterly reviews and annual audit.
      • Prepare quarterly flux analysis for global audit review.
      • Prepare annual impairment testing analysis.
      • Prepare and update Process Flow narrative documents that describe departmental processes for the purposes of external audit as well as for the internal needs of the company.
      • Assist with annual inventory count process and related

      Tax

      • Responsible for tax provision booking and analysis.
      • Coordinate with Tax Manager on tax compliance and reporting
      • Deliver required inputs to Deloitte for preparation of corporate income tax (CIT) returns Property tax returns, Transfer Pricing report and all other tax filing supporting documents.
      • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all tax payments to avoid delinquencies or penalties.
      • Various tax related projects.

      Month End Close

      • Lead overall month-end close for US entity.
      • Coordinate closely with AR, AP, GL, and cost analysts to ensure accurate and timely close and resolution of all accounting issues; ensure all journal entries entered correctly and in the correct periods.
      • Research and provide information on expenditure variances, supporting the Finance Team and other business partners.
      • Prepare the financial tax provisions for US, including preparation of support and postings, and updating the tax reporting system, Once Source (OTP)

      Treasury

      • Assist in monthly intercompany cash netting program for the US entity.

      Special Projects

      • Identify and suggest improvements to our SAP system in relation to Financial processes, and assist on other finance and business projects as needed

      Required skills and experience

      • 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including prior experience as a legal entity controller
      • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and US tax regulations, with hands-on experience in financial reporting and audits
      • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems and process improvements
      • Solid understanding of manufacturing finance, including inventory, fixed assets, and cost control
      • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
      • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex financial topics to non-financial stakeholders

      Qualifications

      • Academic degree in Accounting or Finance.
      • CPA qualification highly desired
