Support local, regional or global consultancy team in tender processes
Supports on request with demos and expertise on Lab organization
Creates concepts for workflow, lab organization and connectivity
Provides customer project expertise to the Product Definition Team
Supports the product life cycle by improving Product serviceability
Assess and optimize customer workflow together with country representative
Supports customer / country on installation requirements
Supports customer / country on installation and upgrade planning
Supports installation of IT solution, instruments and hosts connection and verifies connectivity together with local or regional representatives
Supports Configuration / Testing
Supports country to provide trainings to customers and 1st level support
Acts a subject matter expert for local support (lab process and IT solution)
Bachelors degree in a relevant field of study (IT, Lab Technician , etc.) AND
5+ years of relevant work experience in IT, Lab Organization (Medical Lab Technician, Lab Manager) or Hospital, IT Networks, Interfaces and/or Database OR
An equivalent mix of relevant education and work experience is required.
Previous experience working with the cobas Infinity system is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills and proficiency in verbal and written English
Explicit problem solving attitude as well as experience with working in a customer oriented way in an interdisciplinary environment
Willingness to travel (up to 80%) nationally, but also worldwide
Independent, proactive and versatile working approach, but also acting as a Team Player in a global team
Experience in networking, tcpip, firewall configurations.
Cloud and Edge computing experience
Software Development experience in similar products
The Position
Global Customer Support (GCS) is the global organization responsible for technical services in the Roche Diagnostics Division. Currently approximately 500 GCS co-workers at 6 main Diagnostic R&D/Manufacturing sites in Switzerland, Germany, Spain and USA, build a worldwide network of support and training centers, which provide assistance to local and regional service staff in the Roche Diagnostics affiliates and its external distributors.
This position as a Customer Project Manager within the GCS department entails the following key responsibilities:

This role is not a typical Project Manager (PMP) role and will not necessarily manage cross-functional teams. The "project management" aspect of this role is referring to self-managing a body of project-based work, focused on supporting our customers and helping them to be self-sufficient in using our products.
