- Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering or supply chain discipline, which includes Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar discipline.
- Must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to work in Wilmington, NC.
- Demonstrated initiative.
- Interest in nuclear power industry.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.

Manufacturing Intern:
Responsible for processes and procedures that drive customer satisfaction, quality, fulfillment, and direct material productivity savings. You will work within a manufacturing environment to evaluate and identify areas for improvement and implement these improvements. Additional projects may involve working with cross-functional teams that focus on improving the quality of production areas. You may utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies in driving improvement through the production area. Enhance and maintain technical knowledge of current standards, codes and procedures regarding safe and effective use of production equipment.
Sourcing Intern:
Achieve lowest possible cost for material, balanced against optimum quality and schedule needs. You may solicit and evaluate proposals employing appropriate negotiation, cost and price analysis techniques, using available expertise from supporting organizations; Additional projects may involve implementing purchase contracts following applicable company and government regulations, and evaluating current and anticipated requirements. Other assignments in Environmental Health & Safety and Project Engineering may also be available.
