      General Consideration:

      We’re looking for a team player who can communicate clearly to join our team. In being On Mission Together, we desire to provide NC Baptist, its ministries, staff, and churches with excellent support in a manner that honors Christ.

      Be responsible for an operation, catalyzing a church, strategizing in the implementation of resources or revitalizing efforts within a church or ministry.       Requirements and Responsibilities

      Requirements:

      • High school diploma. Two-year associate business degree preferred.
      • Some accounting experience is preferred.

      Highlighted Responsibilities:

      • Internal auditor for the Convention credit cards and travel expense reports.
      • Records journal entries prepared by Convention staff in financial software.
      • Submits Convention check deposits daily by digital scan and in-person bank deposits as needed.

      Life Insurance:

      • Employee coverage is two times the annual salary.
      • Dependent coverage at Convention expense (Spouse: $5,000) (Child: $10,000).

      Flexible Spending Account (FSA):

      • Pre-tax benefit used to help pay for eligible medical, dental, vision care expenses that are not covered by insurance. Convention will contribute 499.98 to 999.96 per year depending upon employee contribution.

      Gym Membership Reimbursement:

      • Reimbursement of $10.00/month to offset cost of verified gym membership.

      Paid Time Off:

      • While getting the primary holidays off (8 total), the Convention goes beyond this by offering an extra day after Thanksgiving and a full week off for Christmas, which is not counted against your vacation leave.

      Christmas Bonus:

      • There may be a chance that some or all employees may be presented with an amount determined by the discretion of the Executive Committee.

      Paid Parental Leave:

      • Eligible employees may receive up to two (2) weeks of paid parental leave following the birth of a child or placement of a child (adoption or foster).
      • Short Term Disability is eligible for up to six (6) weeks of paid short-term disability leave at the rate of 100% of the employee’s salary.
      • These benefits provide the employee with up to eight (8) weeks of fully paid leave to care for the birth of a child.
