Holds a valid State of Georgia Teaching Certificate.
Meets all certification requirements including teaching area endorsements in the State of Georgia.
Delivering state and local curriculum to prepare students for higher education and facilitating students' learning across various activities (e.g., art, science, music, housekeeping, story time, movement activities, etc.)
Assessing student achievement to inform instructional decisions and create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Representing the school system positively in public relations and collaborating with school personnel, parents, and community agencies.
Exhibiting professionalism and adhering to professional ethics, providing relevant learning experiences, and maintaining a respectful environment.
Engaging students in active learning using research-based methods, supporting individual learning differences, and utilizing diverse assessment strategies to analyze data and provide timely feedback.
Upholding professional standards, contributing to professional growth, and supporting the school's mission through effective communication and participation in professional development practices, meeting certification and accreditation standards, and seeking improvement through professional development and evaluation activities.
Fulfilling other job-related duties as assigned by administrators, advising parents and/or legal guardians of student progress, and adhering to local school procedures and regulations in a supportive manner.
Collaborating with school personnel, parents, and community agencies to assess student needs, progress, expectations, and goals, and facilitating students' learning across various activities.
Providing appropriate instruction and communicating responsibly with all individuals and groups, maintaining plans according to policies and/or directives, promoting responsible use of materials and equipment, and accounting for student attendance and conduct while ensuring health and safety measures, and modeling appropriate behaviors such as conversation, manners, and clean-up activities.
Perform other duties as assigned by Principal or Supervisor.

Working Environment:
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands:
Lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling. Generally, the job requires 65% walking/standing, 25% sitting and 10% lifting/carrying.
