- Utilizes engineering knowledge in areas such as materials, mechanical, and systems engineering to establish a culture of Science and Technology (S&T) Program Management (PM) excellence within AFRL.
- Uses engineering and PM experience to assist in the development and maintenance of policies and processes that instill S&T PM cost, schedule and
performance rigor and discipline within AFRL. - Works with AFRL Chief Engineers to establish PM policies, Cross-directorate PM processes, PM standards and metrics, and Tools and training important for successful S&T PM.
- Works closely with AFRL HQ functional organizations to ensure the utilization of sound engineering and PM practices in S&T program planning, development and execution.
- Provides guidance and assistance in establishing program baselines and conducting PM reviews.
- Provides engineering expertise to AFRL acquisition strategy panels and multifunction independent review team activities as well as functional assistance to Inspector General Visit activities.

- Ability to obtain and maintain a Special Sensitive security clearance
- Must have a professional S&E degree; a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- Must have at least one year of specialized experience at the DR-01 (GS-11 equivalent) grade level.
- This position is an Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) position requiring Level II (practioner) Non-Critical certification. The selectee will have 24-months to meet APDP requirements or a waiver must be obtained.
- This position requires drug testing and the candidate may be subject to passing a drug test upon selection.

Experience managing AFRL programs utilizing best practices of Program Management
Experience with Pega business applications, including EN’s Program Management App
Expert communication skills to articulate and build consensus around path forward; and, to work with customers and other stakeholders
Experience extracting and exploiting data obtained from AFRL data systems
