Plant Nursery Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a Plant Nursery Associate to join our team for a local greenhouse in Shepherdstown! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and beauty of our plants, ensuring a clean and organized greenhouse environment, assisting customers with their purchases, and providing support with stocking and store upkeep. This position involves both indoor and outdoor work, requiring a love for plants and a hands-on approach to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Water and care for plants to ensure their health and vitality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the greenhouse and surrounding areas.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with plant-related inquiries and purchases.
• Load plants and products into customers' vehicles as needed.
• Stock and restock products in the store, ensuring displays are attractive and well-maintained.
• Perform general upkeep duties to ensure the nursery operates smoothly.

Work Environment

This position involves working in both indoor and outdoor environments. Must be comfortable working in greenhouse conditions as well as outside in different weather conditions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Shepherdstown, West Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $16.00/hr.
