Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated Inductor to assist in building 'PODS' or inventory bins at Amazon sites to enhance automation.
• This role involves installing robotics, software downloads, and various inventory tasks.
• The position requires a high level of attention to detail, computer proficiency, and the ability to follow precise instructions.
• This is a physically demanding job that requires being on your feet all day and handling light housekeeping tasks and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing robotics to the PODS.
• Download and install software.
• Perform inventory control and warehouse inventory management.
• Data entry and maintaining inventory records.
• Follow detailed work instructions closely.
• Conduct light housekeeping tasks.
• Remain on your feet throughout the entire workday.
• Lift and move objects as needed.

Work Environment

The work environment is located at Amazon ORF4, 1795 Dam Neck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA. The site is currently still in the construction phase, providing a construction work environment. Facilities include port-a-potties and the site is non-climate controlled. This role requires the ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving workspace.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
