      Job Description

      The base salary for this position is $34.87 hourly.

      We are looking for a maintenance professional that is dedicated and passionate about delivering exceptional maintenance service in a luxury setting. Essential job functions would include repairing, replacing or installing material for equipment not functioning. The ideal candidate would have expertise in performing the skills of a carpenter, electrician, painter, mechanics, refrigeration mechanic, and general repair work may be necessary. Communication and collaboration will be a key component where the individual will be able to provide assistance and advice/delegate employees as necessary. A successful candidate will have attention to detail and be able to work in a fast paced environment with high demands. A minimum of 5 years previous work experience in a similar setting is required.

      • Performs work requiring special skills of a carpenter, plumber, electrician, painter, mechanic, refrigeration mechanic, does general repair work, performs all duties of subordinate positions, lends assistance and advises employees in lower rated positions, generally responsible for the proper maintenance and servicing of the equipment of trade in which status is held.
      • Communicate and delegate work order assignments, discuss minor or major problems that occurred or are anticipated.
      • Troubleshoot minor and major repairs, gathering information on parts, vendors, part numbers and any other pertinent information to make an order.
      • Originate purchase requests, maintains adequate stock of trade, take periodic inventory.
      • Requisitioning, obtaining price and expediting material parts list.
      • Ability to perform with the knowledge ability and skills of at least one trade.
      • Ability to work unassisted on guest related room work request.

      Qualifications

      Education:

      • Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions. High School Diploma preferred.
      • CPR Certificate / and or First Aid Training preferred.

      Experience:

      • Trade person of at least 5 years and prior hospitality experience preferred.
