      Job summary

      General Practitioner (GP) Location: Beacon Medical Centre

      The Role

      • Managing acute and chronic medical conditions
      • Conducting face-to-face and telephone consultations
      • Prescribing and reviewing medications
      • Participating in clinical audits and MDT meetings
      • Supporting QOF and local enhanced services
      • Providing proactive, patient-centred care

      In addition to the standard responsibilities of a GP, we are particularly interested in candidates with a desirable special interest in womens health and gynaecological issues. This includes (but is not limited to):

      • Menstrual, menopausal and contraceptive care
      • Routine gynaecological presentations
      • Coil/implant fitting and removal (desirable but not essential)
      • Supporting continuity of care for female patients with ongoing reproductive or sexual health concerns

      Desirable Criteria

      • Special interest and experience in womens health and gynaecology
      • DFSRH, DRCOG or equivalent
      • Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
      • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
      • Passion for providing compassionate, inclusive care

      • Experience or formal training in womens health (e.g. DFSRH, DRCOG) is desirable but not essential
