Job summary
An excellent opportunity to join our friendly, innovative, and expanding GMS practice in a beautiful semi-rural location between York and Leeds. We are seeking a dedicated GP who has qualified within the last two years (ARRS eligible) to enhance our supportive team.
Main duties of the job
We care for a pleasant and varied patient population of 10,800, with a low home visit rate supported by an associated paramedic visiting service, first contact physiotherapy, and a mental health practitioner.
Our GPs and ANPs benefit from capped appointment numbers and 15-minute face-to-face consultations, ensuring a focus on high-quality patient care.
About us
We prioritise team wellbeing with daily clinical huddles, and we have a low clinical staff turnover. We are consistently high QOF achievers, provide enhanced services, dispense to nearly half our population, and have an on-site pharmacy.
We also operate branch sites at Micklefield and Thorpe Willoughby.
You will be supported by a full nursing team, excellent admin support, and integrated working with the PCN, district nursing, health visiting, and specialist nurse teams.

About the company
National Health Service (NHS) is the umbrella term for the publicly-funded healthcare systems of the United Kingdom (UK). The founding principles were that services should be comprehensive, universal and free at the point of delivery—a health service based on clinical need, not ability to pay. Each service provides a comprehensive range of health services, free at the point of use for people ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom apart from dental treatment and optical care.
