      Come and work where Snowdonia meets the beautiful historic town of Conwy. Meddygfa Gyffin and Llys Meddyg are part of the Llanfairfechan Group Practices and are seeking to recruiting a Partner or Salaried GP to work in Conwy.

      We are a friendly and innovative team making great efforts in making General Practice accessible for patients again. This includes using a digital platform, AccuRx as a flexible and interactive way of connecting with patients.

      We have a strong clinical team of 2 GP partners, 2 salaried GPs, alongside a varied Multidisciplinary team. We are the only practice in North Wales to employ our own Physiotherapist and Community Clinical Nurse to complement our team.

      We embrace new ideas and concepts using digital technology to aid triaging. Our strong team of clinicians and administration staff care about General Practice within our community.

      There are opportunities to participate in training medical, nursing and GP trainees and leading research projects. We have strong links to Bangor and Cardiff University, The University of Liverpool and Imperial College London.

      Main duties of the job

      Participate in providing clinical services as described in the GMS contract

      Manage own workload with excellent time management

      Provide strong team work, supporting clinical colleagues

      Attend and participate in weekly clinical meetings

      Perform and review audits

      About us

      Meddygfa Gyffin and Llys Meddyg Surgeries, based in Conwy, are part of the Llanfairfechan Group Practices.

      We are seeking to recruit a GP, either as a Partner or in a salaried position, to join our friendly and innovative team. We use EMIS Web and AccuRx providing services to 6,500 patients.

      Our highly skilled clinical team comprises of 3 GPs, Advance Nurse Practitioner, Community Clinical Practitioner, Practice Nurse, Physiotherapist, Health Care Assistant, Phlebotomist and a Pharmacy Technician. All are fully supported by our experienced Care Navigation and Admin teams who work across both sites in Conwy.

      Job description

      Job responsibilities

      • Manage a patient caseload within the practice population

      • The treatment,interventions and care for patients presenting with an undifferentiated diagnosis

      • Work alongside secondary and third sector care providers to align care packages, signposting and communication

      • The interventions,treatment for patients with complex needs

      • Instigate necessary invasive and non invasive diagnostic tests or investigations and interpret findings/reports with clinical support

      • Perform QAIF related activities and enhanced services

      • Record clear and contemptuous consultation notes to agreed standards

      • Perform triage and consultations using online triage service AccuRx

      • Perform home visits to those patients who are housebound.

      • Assist in research projects and lead personal and practice based audits. To interpret and present these findings.
