  General Production Worker – Overnight Shift

  Location: Ottawa, ON

  Shift: Overnight, 7pm-7am

  Industry: Medical Device Manufacturing

  About the Role: We are seeking dedicated General Production Workers to join our overnight manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in producing blood analyzer cartridges—essential components used in healthcare environments to ensure accurate blood test results.

  As part of the production line, you'll work with automated printing and labeling systems, monitor equipment, and perform quality checks to ensure each product meets rigorous industry standards. This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and a commitment to excellence.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor automated manufacturing and labeling equipment
  • Maintain precision and focus for high-accuracy droplet printing onto metal strips
  • Conduct in-process and final quality control inspections
  • Log production data and document abnormalities using digital tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues

  What You Bring

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in science, medical, or engineering fields is an asset
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Familiarity with automated equipment and following SOPs
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain focus over long shifts
  • Able to stand for extended periods in a repetitive task environment

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in medical device, food, or pharmaceutical production
  • Background in biology, chemistry, or engineering
  • Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts on a rotating or fixed schedule
