      Req#: GENER002998

      To provide comprehensive assessment, treatment and education to general surgery patients. Coordinates treatment with other entities for the delivery of health care services. Provides care in a professional, efficient and ethical manner, as well as in accordance with the standards and recommendations of CMS, applicable laws and regulations of the State of New Hampshire, and philosophy of Monadnock Community Hospital (MCH).

      Essential Functions:

      1. Patient Assessment

      2. Treatment Planning

      3. In Patient/Emergency Department Services - Participates in call coverage with other Providers within the practice. Required to follow all MCH Operating Room policies and procedures during surgical cases.

      4. Documentation of Services

      5. Liaison Functions

      6. Participates in Quality Improvement activities

      7. Patient Satisfaction

      8. Participates in Office Functions/Billing

      9. Collaboration

      10. Policies and Procedures - Adheres to all policies and procedures including but not limited to: infection control procedures, safety procedures, Universal Precautions, patient confidentiality and security policies. Ensures confidentiality of employee, legal, client/patient, budget and all company matters.

      Work Schedule:

      Generally Monday through Friday, days.

      A minimum of 1-year experience in clinical medicine is preferred, but not required.
